No Damage To Temecula Meineke Following Vehicle Fire

TEMECULA, CA — A vehicle fire that broke out Saturday afternoon near the Temecula Meineke car care shop on Jefferson Avenue sent black smoke billowing through the area, but there was no damage to surrounding buildings, a Cal Fire/Riverside County fire official confirmed Monday.

The blaze was reported at 4:41 p.m. at 27685 Jefferson Avenue, according to April Newman, spokesperson for Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

When crews arrived, they discovered the vehicle fire, which was contained in approximately 10 minutes, Newman explained.

No structures were damaged, she continued.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

The Meineke store was closed at the time of the fire.
