Oldest Descendant of Pechanga's Paulina Hunter Celebrates 91 yrs
Great granddaughter of original Pechanga allottee, #62
HAPPY 91st Birthday to my Aunt Matilda, the last surviving child of my grandmother Olive Miller Cuevas, and great granddaughter Paulina Hunter, an ORIGINAL PECHANGA alloteee of the Temecula Indian Reservation!
During my last visit with my aunt Matilda , then 87 years old, she recalled being on the reservation in the late 1930’s. “It was a long trip to get there, especially in those days”. “But that is where our roots were, my grandmother loved it there.”
