Palm Springs Homeless Navigation Center Meeting Scheduled
The Homeless Navigation Center, in planning stages, is being developed in partnership with Palm Springs & the County of Riverside.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — A second community meeting for the new Homeless Navigation Center at 3589 McCarthy Road will be held next week, the City of Palm Springs announced. The City of Palm Springs invites residents to participate in the second of a series of ongoing community meetings regarding a new Homeless Navigation Center to be located at 3589 McCarthy Road in the northern part of the city.
The meeting will be held from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15 at the James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center, 480 W. Tramview Road.
"The Homeless Navigation Center is being developed in partnership with the City of Palm Springs and the County of Riverside and is currently in the planning stages," a spokesperson for the group said. "Martha’s Village and Kitchen, one of Riverside County’s most respected homeless providers, will operate the facility. Resident input, questions and suggestions are desired and welcome."

Following a brief presentation regarding the plan for the facility and service programming, City officials, Palm Springs Chief of Police Andy Mills, Linda Barrack, CEO of Martha’s Village and Kitchen, and Greg Rodriguez, government relations and public policy advisor from Supervisor Manuel Perez’s office, will be on hand for questions and answers.
