Brothel Found Inside Temecula Chiropractic Office, 1 Arrested: Cops
One woman was arrested at a brothel found inside a Temecula Parkway Chiropractic office, and more victims are being sought, authorities say.

TEMECULA, CA — A 49-year-old IE woman was behind bars Friday on suspicion of pimping and maintaining an illicit brothel at a Temecula Chiropractic office at Temecula Parkway and Kevin Place, authorities announced.
Hong Yang, a resident of Rosemead, was due to appear at the Murrieta Southwest Justice Center on Friday on a pending felony pimping charge and a misdemeanor charge of keeping a house of "ill fame," according to jail records.
Officers arrived at the office located in the 31300 block of Temecula Parkway, suite #140, Wednesday to serve a search warrant after receiving an "anonymous tip" about a prostitution operation, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Sgt. Jesse Maldonado.

There, Yang was arrested, and two victims were "offered resources and given access to speak with victim case managers," he said.
Yang's role at the chiropractic office was not released. The issue of human trafficking remains a chief concern, according to the sheriff's department.

"Human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation remain significant concerns in our community. These crimes often involve manipulation, coercion, and exploitation, leading victims to engage in illegal activities against their will," Maldonado said. "The Riverside Sheriff’s Office remains committed to identifying and dismantling trafficking networks to ensure that victims are rescued and perpetrators are held accountable.
"Human trafficking is not a 'victimless' crime. Research shows that a majority of trafficking victims are women or children, many of whom have histories of abuse or trauma," Maldonado said. "The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children estimates that 1 in 6 endangered runaways are likely victims of sex trafficking, facing severe emotional and physical abuse."
Sheriff's officials encourage residents and community members to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to 951-776-1099 or 911. Information can also be reported through the WE-Tip Crime Reporting Hotline at 909-987-5005.
