Small Brush Fire Quickly Contained in Fallbrook Field

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire before it did any damage to a nearby home and barn.

FALLBROOK, CA — A half-acre brush fire that threatened a home and a barn in Fallbrook was contained quickly by North County Fire Department firefighters Sunday.

The fire was reported at about noon in a field off Los Alisos Drive south, said Capt. John Choi of the NCFD.

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire before it did any damage to a nearby home and barn, Choi said. Firefighters remained on scene and were mopping up the area at 12:30 p.m.
