SWR Lawmakers Hosting Holiday Party, Toy Drive
"This event is a great opportunity for everyone to have a chance to meet and mingle with their elected officials."

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez, R-Lake Elsinore, and Sen. Jeff Stone, R-La Quinta, are extending an open invitation to residents countywide to join them Thursday for a "Christmas & Holiday Party" in Murrieta, where they'll be collecting toys for underprivileged children and speaking with constituents about whatever they wish.
"This event is a great opportunity for everyone to have a chance to meet and mingle with their elected officials," Melendez told City News Service. "Senator Stone and I look forward to having good conversations with all who are able to make it."
The get-together, scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Murrieta Spectrum on Madison Avenue, will feature food and music. The legislators are seeking toy donations for children in need this holiday season.
