Temecula City Council, TVUSD Seats Up For Election: You Can Still Run
Some Temecula City Council, Temecula Valley Unified School District, and Rancho California Water District seats will be decided November 8.

TEMECULA, CA — Are you thinking of running for office in Temecula? If so, time is running out.
Three City Council seats, four Temecula Valley Unified School District Trustee Areas, and four Rancho California Water District director spots will be put before local voters during the November 8, 2022, Consolidated General Election.
If you want to throw your hat in the ring, declarations of candidacy and candidate statements should be filed with the Registrar of Voters by end of day Friday, August 12, according to the Riverside County Registrar of Voters.

The Temecula City Council seats to be decided are District 1, currently held by Councilmember Matt Rahn who is running for state assembly; District 3, currently held by Councilmember Maryann Edwards; and District 5, held by Councilmember Zak Schwank.

The TVUSD Trustee Areas to be decided are TA 1 held by incumbent Allison Barclay; TA 2 held by incumbent Sandra Lynne Hinkson; TA 3 held by Barbara Brosch; and TA 4 held by Adam Skumawitz.

The current Rancho Calfornia Water District directors are William Everett Plummer, Angel Garcia, Carol Lee Brady and John Vincent Ross.
