Temecula Crash Stalls Butterfield Stage Road Traffic Monday

TEMECULA, CA — Two cars collided in South Temecula Monday morning, backing up traffic southbound on Butterfield Stage Road at Welton Way near Vail Ranch Middle School, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Shortly before 8 a.m., Cal Fire and Riverside County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene at Butterfield Stage and Welton Road, where the vehicles collided for as of yet unidentified reasons.

Medics evaluated those involved at the scene, and no injuries were reported as of 8 a.m., according to Cal Fire spokesperson Maggie Cline De La Rosa. No other information was immediately available.
