Temecula Deputies Search Paloma Del Sol On Alleged Kidnapping Report
A Riverside County Sheriff's Department circled the south Temecula neighborhoods of Paloma Del Sol and Paseo Del Sol Wednesday morning.

TEMECULA, CA—A Riverside County Sheriff's Department helicopter and multiple squad cars scoured the Paloma Del Sol streets in Temecula on a possible kidnapping tip that proved to be in error, according to Sergeant Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez.
Shorlty before 9 a.m., the Riverside County Sheriff's Department received a call from a concerned resident who thought they may have witnessed a kidnapping, Brito-Gonzalez said.
"When deputies responded and conducted their investigation, which included searching for the described vehicle, they discovered it was not a kidnapping. It was a parent and their child who was refusing to go to school," she said.
