Truck Tumbles Over De Luz Roadway, Helicopter Searches For Victims

TEMECULA, CA — A black truck that tumbled from a De Luz roadway was discovered Tuesday morning, according to California Highway Patrol.

"It looked like it overturned, and the windshield was damaged," officers told CHP dispatch. It was unclear when the crash occurred, and the vehicle was located about twenty feet over the side.

The truck was only visible going up the hill, on the right-hand side, and not visible from the roadway, CHP dispatch reported.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department firefighters arrived at the scene shortly after 8 a.m. to find the vehicle and declare it empty. A helicopter was called to help search for injured patients. However, according to Cal Fire, no victims of the crash were found.

Tow trucks arrived to remove the vehicle shortly before 10 a.m.
