• Mill Valley bans nicotine sales with no exemptions (marinij.com) — Mill Valley has joined Corte Madera in completely banning retail nicotine and vaping-product sales starting Feb. 1, 2027, building on the tougher tobacco rules already adopted in Tiburon. Local health advocates, including Tiburon councilmember Holli Thier, say these bans are helping protect teens from high vaping rates at schools like Redwood High. Business groups counter that outright bans may just shift where people buy nicotine products.
