Carjacking Suspect Sought In Union City
BREAKING: The victim reported the man displayed a handgun, however the motorist was able to get away and made it safely home, police said.

UNION CITY, CA – Union City police are looking for the suspect in an attempted carjacking last week, police said Thursday.
The victim was stopped at a red light while he was in his vehicle in the area of Union City Boulevard and Whipple Road at about 12:30 a.m. on April 7 when an unknown male approached his driver's door and brandished a handgun, according to police.
However, the victim was able to flee the scene in his vehicle and drive home safely, police said.

The suspect is described by police as a white or Middle Eastern male who is about 20 years old, has a light complexion, is between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 and has a thin build.
