Fundraiser Thursday To Pay For Crash Victim's Funeral

HAYWARD, CA - A fundraiser will be held in Hayward Thursday to help the family of Simon Sotelo pay for a burial service.

Sotelo was killed on Memorial Day when the pickup he was riding in crashed in Alameda. Also killed in the crash was the driver, Briana Ortega. Her funeral will be held on Saturday.

The fundraiser will be held at Straw Hat Pizza, 1653 Industrial Parkway, Hayward, all day Thursday, June 8. Twenty percent of purchases will go to the Sotelo family. Mention the fundraiser when ordering.
