Got Your Goat? These Are Roaming Free: Photo
Patch loves photos! Share your photos with Patch and your work could be featured.

UNION CITY, CA — Have you ever wondered about the phrase, "get your goat," meaning to annoy someone? According to dictionary.com, goats were once used to calm racehorses, "Thought to have a calming effect on high-strung thoroughbreds, a goat was placed in the horse's stall on the night before the race."
These goats were wandering along Alameda Creek when Patch reader Manuel Guzman snapped their photo. Their munching will reduce the fire danger along the waterway.
