UNION CITY, CA — October is quickly coming to an end, and time is almost up to get the best pumpkin at a local patch for Halloween.

Last weekend's Ardenwood Pumpkin Patch Festival was drowned by the atmospheric river on Sunday. The Pumpkin Patch at 34600 Ardenwood Boulevard in Fremont now has great deals on discounted pumpkins, with proceeds supporting Deputy Sheriffs' Activities League programs.

Many Union City families enjoy an annual trip to the pumpkin patch. Fields often have free activities such as corn mazes, hayrides and apple cider tastings.
