UNION CITY, CA — Union City Police officers who took on the role of servers at Texas Roadhouse last week raised an impressive $4,109 in less than three hours for Special Olympics of Northern California. Menu items were free, thanks to the generosity of Texas Roadhouse, leaving restaurant patrons with extra money for tips. All money donated as a tip went to Special Olympics. UCPD thanked the regular servers who shadowed them as they served food and drinks.
