Car Plunges Down 30-Foot Embankment at Dockweiler State Beach

Two drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries when their vehicles collided in the 11400 block of Vista Del Mar and one of them plunged down a 30-foot embankment to the lower parking lot of Dockweiler State Beach in Playa del Rey, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Both victims were taken to a hospital for treatment following the 5:44 p.m. crash, Scott said.
