LAPD Finds Alleged Stolen Vehicle Suspects In Venice

Two suspects were taken into custody in Venice Thursday afternoon.

VENICE, CA — Two suspects allegedly involved with a stolen vehicle were taken into police custody in Venice Thursday, Los Angeles Police Department officials told Patch.

The incident was reported about 3:50 p.m. near Rose Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard, police said.

"The Department of Transportation was doing some work in that area and came across a stolen vehicle," Officer Jeff Lee of LAPD Media Relations told Patch.

"Officers arrived and took two people in custody," Lee said.

The suspects were not immediately identified.
