Police ID 24-Year-Old Venice Man Killed in Hit and Run
Authorities are asking for help finding the driver who killed Anthony Brown while he was trying to cross the street in Venice.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Authorities Friday identified a young man who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver while crossing a street in Venice.
The man was crossing Venice Boulevard near Venezia Avenue about 2 a.m. Thursday when he was struck by an eastbound car, possibly a newer-model Toyota Corolla, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Anthony Brown, 24, of Venice died at the scene, the coroner's office reported.

Detectives with the LAPD's West Traffic Division asked that anyone with information that could help them track down the vehicle and identify the suspect call them at (213) 473-0234.
