1. 18-Year-Old Hesperia Man On Probation Among Two Arrested After Illegal Firearms Seized In Victorville (vvng.com) — Victorville deputies arrested two men after seizing several illegal firearms, including AR-style rifles and high-capacity magazines, during a search of a home on Outer Hesperia Road. One suspect from Hesperia was already on probation, and residents are urged to contact Victorville Police or the Sheriff's Department with any additional information.

Lions Club members give away nearly 700 books at Mall of Victor Valley (vvdailypress.com) — Families visiting the Mall of Victor Valley in Victorville recently picked up nearly 700 free books, thanks to a Lions Club literacy project. Another High Desert ticket in Palmdale hit for $1 million, as lottery officials highlight several recent top-prize wins statewide.
   

4. WATCH: Video Shows Motorcyclist Kick And Break Tesla's Passenger-Side Mirror On 15 Freeway In Cajon Pass (vvng.com) — A Hesperia driver is asking Victor Valley residents for help identifying a motorcyclist caught on Tesla cameras kicking and breaking side mirrors on the southbound 15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass. The September 23 incident damaged at least two vehicles, and anyone who recognizes the rider is urged to contact the California Highway Patrol.
