Camp ARF Grades 4 -5
This camp is perfect for young animal lovers eager to learn more about animal care, health, grooming and behavior as well as responsible pet guardianship. Campers will explore ARF’s shelter activities, spend time with ARF’s therapy cats and dogs, meet our shelter animal guests, play animal-themed games and get creative with “critter crafts.” Topics include: Care/feeding of shelter pets, as well as animals in our community, and the importance of spaying/neutering pets to control overpopulation. Campers will have the opportunity to observe a spay/neuter surgery (parental permission required) and to participate in a pet food drive benefitting animals in our community.
