Spend your Thursday evening with free live music, great drinks, food, and late-night plant shopping at the Ruth Bancroft Garden & Nursery.
Admission to the Plaza and live music is free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, including fresh craft beer from our beverage sponsor and 1% for the Planet partner, Headlands Brewing. If you’d like to explore the Garden, paid admission is required. Garden Members enjoy free admission year-round.

Avery Chapman is a bicoastal singer-songwriter whose music seamlessly blends the warmth of folk with the catchiness of pop. Known for her thought-provoking lyricism and expressive storytelling, Avery crafts songs that resonate with emotional depth and authenticity. Avery has 4 albums of released music, including her new album “The Mainland"! She graduated from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami with her Bachelor’s in Music Education and Contemporary Songwriting. On top of her personal artistry, Avery is a passionate and dedicated teacher.

Born and raised in the East Bay, Brad Parese is a guitarist, classically trained baritone, and music educator. He serves as the Music Teacher at two elementary schools in San Ramon, CA, is the Baritone section leader of the Blackhawk Chorus, is a founding member of the Napa-based chamber choir Aeternum, and makes regular appearances as a chorister with the GRAMMY® Award-winning San Francisco Symphony Chorus.
