Walnut Creek Braces For Triple-Digit Temps This Labor Day Weekend

Here's how hot forecasters say it will get in Walnut Creek.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for most of the Bay Area including Walnut Creek for the holiday weekend.

Most of the region was expected to go under a heat advisory earlier this week, but the NWS upgraded the advisory to an excessive heat watch as forecasts called for hotter temperatures.

“This means conditions are particularly dangerous to heat-sensitive groups and those without access to adequate cooling and hydration,” the NWS said.
