County officials said the auction will be held online.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — More than 20 tax-defaulted Santa Cruz County properties will be up for auction in March, officials said. Each of the properties is a minimum of five years past due on taxes, according to county officials.
"The properties range from undeveloped land, agricultural property and homes that are located throughout the County from Los Gatos to Lompico, and from Santa Cruz to Aptos," officials said in a statement.
The auction is held annually and payment is due within 48 hours of winning a property. Those interested in bidding can preregister online by Feb. 26. The auction will be held from March 2 to March 5.
