Bites Nearby: Small Taquería, Big Flavor
Taquería Tecomán's flavorful regional dishes taste homemade.
Taquerías about in the Pajaro Valley, many of them distinguished by their regional cooking styles. is named after the coastal city of Tecomán—known as the lime capital of the world— in the Mexican state of Colima.
This tiny restaurant serves the usual taquería fare—tacos, burritos, quesadillas and fajitas—and soups such as menudo (tripe) and caldo de pollo (chicken). But there are some specialties you might not find at other taquerías, like the barbacoa (Caribbean-style slow-cooked, smoked meat) and spicy shrimp.
Come for breakfast and have the huevos rancheros. I love the house-made tortillas and the generous portions in the flavorful and spicy tacos.
