Black Friday Crowds Get Police Info, Deals

Watsonville police used the holiday shopping event to reach out to the community.

About 800 people turned out late on Thanksgiving to get in line for Target's .

Solano said the effort was a great success and Manager Shawn Shugrue thanked police for being there. The chief didn't mention, however, if he got in any holiday shopping when the doors opened at 12 a.m.
