Church's Plea: Help Us Find a Site
Cathedral of Faith is searching for a location to have sermons in Watsonville.

By Mike Scherer, Cathedral of Faith pastor
Cathedral of Faith, a nondenominational church based in San Jose, is bringing its message of "everyone is welcome" to Watsonville. In order to fulfill their mission, over 90 diverse ministries are active at the Cathedral of Faith with off site campuses in San Jose, Morgan Hill, Milpitas, Sunnyvale, and Santa Cruz. Their style is contemporary and casual. Their goal is to reach the more than 90 percent of California residents who do not regularly attend church and show them the wonderful plan God has for their life. Both English and Spanish speaking ministries serve more than 10,000 people each week. Their Reaching Out food ministry, the largest of its kind in Northern California, provides food for over 2500 people each week.
Currently Cathedral is looking at different locations in Watsonville that would be able to accommodate 100 to 200 worshipers along with separate classrooms for children and youth ministries. Places of consideration are schools, halls, community centers, etc. They would also consider partnering with another church that would have space available on Sunday mornings. Space could be rented only for Sunday morning services or a yearly lease of a complete facility.
