City Receives Tire Amnesty Grant from CalRecycle

The City of Watsonville once again received a grant from the CalRecycle Waste Tire Amnesty Grant Program. This is a competitive grant that CalRecycle offers to cities, counties, and other local agencies for collection events which allow citizens to bring their waste tires to convenient locations for proper remedial management.

Residents living in the Watsonville city limits are allowed to bring for FREE their old tires to the Waste & Recycling Drop-off Center located at 320 Harvest Drive. There is a limit on how many tires you can bring in for free. To find out more about this program you can visit the City's Website at www.cityofwatsonville.org or visit the CalRecycle Website.
