Full Road Closure: Green Valley Rd. Between Struve Slough & Carey

FULL ROAD CLOSURE ON GREEN VALLEY ROAD BETWEEN STRUVE SLOUGH (entrance to Home Depot) AND CAREY AVENUE: Saturday, 10/26 to Thursday 10/31.

Granite Construction will be performing pavement improvements on South Green Valley Road between Carey Avenue and Struve Slough. The nature of this work requires a full closure to this section of roadway. A closure will begin to the south at the Home Depot and Green Valley Church intersection and will run to Carey Avenue to the north.

Southern Detour: During these days, traffic will be detoured around this closure from the south at Loma Prieta Avenue to Airport Blvd., traffic will then be directed onto Freedom Blvd. from Airport Blvd. Foot traffic will be limited to one side of the roadway for the duration of this closure. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

Northern Detour: From Freedom Blvd., traffic will be detoured onto Airport Blvd., then onto Loma Prieta Avenue. Carey Avenue residents will have access during this closure.

Through traffic will not be permitted during this closure, however, local business traffic along Green Valley Road will be available.
