Why Go: You will want to see this presentation, especially the young performers and even more especially if one of the young performers is a member of your family. The show is "Tales of Dance: Fables Poems and Folklore." The younger ones perform at 3 p.m.; the full company is on at 5 p.m.

Why Go: Los Dryheavers are a local Watsonville legend and this is their farewell concert. So come and say good-by and watch their last show. Los Dryheavers is a popular local punk band that has been playingΒ over 12 years. Also playing are Pop Bottle Bombers, P+, Los Fracasos (also their last show)Β from Watsonville, and Sea Wolves from Salinas. Taqueria La Fuente will be there selling tacos and other snacks.

Why Go: The rummage sale got rained out last weekend, so now is the chance to make up for lost time.Β There will be a lot there that you and your children can "rummage" for, while knowing that your money is going to support spaying and neutering programs for feral cats.

Why Go: The festival got rained out last weekend, but this Saturday it is back on with a vengeance! There will be carnival games, bouncy houses, a dunk tank and more. And food galore:Mexican, BBQ, Veggie and of course strawberries, strawberries and more strawberries presented in all kinds of waysβshortcake, crepes, chocolate-dipped and more.Β
Pricing: Free to attend, but all proceeds benefit the programs of Walnut Avenue Women's Center.
