Local Seafood Service Catches on in Watsonville
Local Catch Monterey Bay, a community supported fishery, announced an expansion into the South County city.
Local Catch Monterey Bay took the bait and, at the request of Watsonville residents, will launch a pick-up location in the city.
to provide a variety fresh, in-season seafood to customers who buy in on a weekly basis.
Community coordinator and manager Oren Frey announced Wednesday via Patch that the business will add a Watsonville pick-up location at , 500 Westridge Dr. The site will get its first drop-off after 10 customers have signed up to use that location.

Local Catch Monterey Bay already offers several pick-up locations in northern Santa Cruz County and in Monterey County. The spots nearest to Watsonville were Moss Landing and Cabrillo College in Aptos.
