Open Streets Watsonville Gets Ready for Big Day
Open Streets Watsonville "pop up" street park event takes place May 17, 2015 on "open" streets between Callighan Park and Watsonville Plaza.
This special car free “pop up” community event will take place on Sunday, May 17 between the streets of Callighan Park and the Watsonville Plaza. Famllies and friends will be able to walk, skate, ride, dance and play in the street. Many activities will be available as well as many community organizations participating. Times of the event is 11am-3 pm.
The mission of Open Streets Santa Cruz County is,” To Promote individual and community health through creative use of of public space.” The theme of this event is, “ Healthy Communities.”
