WATSONVILLE, CA — A 55-year-old parolee was arrested Wednesday in Watsonville for allegedly possessing more than 15 grams of methamphetamine.Jose Martinez was arrested by a Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office deputy shortly before 6 p.m. at 66 Fiesta Way.According to the sheriff's office, Martinez was was walking away a reported stolen vehicle when a deputy stopped and searched him.Martinez was booked on suspicion of a parole violation and being in possession of illegal narcotics.
