Power Outage: 11,600 In The Dark, PG&E Reports: Santa Cruz County
The cause of the outage was unknown Friday afternoon, with an estimated power restoration time of 2:45 p.m.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA β About 11,600 Pacific Gas and Electric Company customers lost power Friday afternoon for an unknown reason, the utility reported. PG&E aimed to restore power by 2:45 p.m.
The outage began shortly before 1 p.m. and crews were on their way to make repairs as of 2 p.m.
Customers as far north as La Selva Beach and Amasti, and as far south as the Moss Landing State Wildlife Area were impacted, according to a map on PG&E's website.
