Officers have investigated reports of price gouging

Price gouging during a state of emergency is not only illegal but also immoral.

Our officers have gone out to investigate reports of price gouging on essential items. If caught, these folks will face misdemeanor charges accompanied by steep fines.

Keep in mind- price gouging is when the cost of an item is increased by more than 10% after an emergency has been declared.

If you suspect price gouging is happening in our community, please have as much information as possible and call 471-1151.

Nuestros oficiales han estado investigando reportes sobre el aumento de precios en suministros esenciales. Si damos con estas personas, enfrentarán cargos por delitos menores y fuertes multas.
