School Board Returns to Action Tonight
The Pajaro Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees will take a position on Prop. 30, the governor's tax proposal.

After a short summer break, the Pajaro Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees is easing back into work.
The board will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m., its first meeting since mid-June.

State voters will consider the proposed tax hike in November. It raises California’s sales tax to 7.5 percent from 7.25 percent, creates three new high-income tax brackets and increases income tax on those who earn more than $250,000 annually.
