I am a local business owner for Integrity Lending, a mortgage company that has permitted me to grasp the challenges of our local economy and housing needs. My professional background has been in management and finance. I am also one of three generations born and raised in Watsonville with my family working within the agriculture industry and attending school in the PVUSD. I am also proud to be the first of my family to graduate from college and have set the example for my children to improve their educational skills by also going to college. I was raised to be involved in my community where I am currently the Chairman for the Watsonville Planning Commission after having served as a Personnel Commissioner. I am also the current President of Freedom Rotary and have worked for a decade as a volunteer for WHS sober grad night organization. I have two children, one of which is still in school in San Francisco and my son that graduated from the Citadel in South Carolina. My husband, Tony Gomez, has been my major supporter for my bid for this seat where he currently works for PG&E.
