VIDEO: Serial Burglar Arrested By Watsonville Police

Ariana Rose Diaz, 26, ​was nabbed Sunday morning when officers spotted her attempting to break-in to a Main Street donut shop.

WATSONVILLE, CA — A female burglar suspected in multiple break-ins at Watsonville businesses and residences has been caught in the act, the Watsonville Police Department reported Wednesday.

Ariana Rose Diaz, 26, was nabbed Sunday morning when officers spotted her attempting to break-in to a Main Street donut shop, the department said.

Diaz has been linked to at least eight burglaries in a three-day span that took place in the area of Main Street and E. Lake Avenue, according to police. As officers were interviewing her, she admitted to being at most of the burglaries, according to the WPD.

Diaz was arrested and booked into county jail on $25,000 bail.
