View Finder: Los Dryheavers

Los Dryheavers has to be one of the most hard-working bands I've ever known. And even though the band plays all over, members also come home—to Watsonville—to perform, as they did when I photographed them recently at the .

I first photographed the Dryheavers in 2004 at a local Santa Cruz dive bar, called . Since then I've come to be a friend. I've spent countless of hours driving across the United States touring with Los Dryheavers. I have photographed this band so many times that I can't remember, as I watch it rock out to hundreds of people, over and over again.
