Aug. 27 was the Second Annual Hot Rods for Kids event held at Ocean Speedway at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds.
The event, held to benefit youth development services and the family literacy programs at Walnut Avenue Women's Center, was a blast with free admission, live music, food, a raffle, cool cars and the 51st Running of the Johnny Key Classic Races.
