Next City Of West Hollywood City Council Meeting On June 15, 2020

The next regular meeting of the West Hollywood City Council will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2020 in a virtual teleconference format. Community members may view the City Council meeting agenda and may live-stream the meeting by visiting the City’s website at www.weho.org/wehotv.

The City Council meeting will also available on the City’s YouTube channel; on streaming services such as AndroidTV, AppleTV, FireTV, and Roku; and through broadcasts on Spectrum channel 10 in West Hollywood and AT&T U-verse channel 99 throughout Southern California. Digital streaming platform viewers can easily find programming by searching for “WeHoTV” within the search functions of these services.

Members of the public wishing to provide public comment on agenda items are welcome to do so in the following two ways:

• To participate by providing an E-Comment: Members of the public who wish to comment on matters before the City Council are strongly encouraged to submit an E-Comment using the online form at www.weho.org/councilagendas by no later than 4 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2020. E-Comments received by 4 p.m. will be forwarded to the City Council and posted on the City’s website as part of the official meeting record.
• To participate by phone: Members of the public are strongly encouraged to email City of West Hollywood City Clerk Yvonne Quarker at yquarker@weho.org no later than 4 p.m. on City Council meeting day, to be added to the public speaker list for the meeting. Please include your name, the phone number from which you will be calling, and which item you would like to speak on. Then dial-in 10 minutes prior to the start of the meeting (the meeting begins at 5:30 p.m.) The dial-in number is (669) 900-6833 and the participant passcode is 99886522076 then #. It is important that all callers mute phones until called to speak. Comments from members of the public are limited to two minutes per speaker.

The City of West Hollywood has declared a local emergency in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. While Los Angeles County is allowing for a phased reopening of some businesses and activities, coronavirus transmission and COVID-19 disease remain a serious risk. The City urges everyone to stay in place, maintain your space, and cover your face. West Hollywood residents are encouraged to remain home as much as is practical and limit close contact with others outside of a household; always use social (physical) distancing of at least six feet; and follow City requirements for the use of face coverings in public.

West Hollywood City Hall is currently closed to the public and has suspended all in-person transactions. Most public City buildings, playgrounds, parks, dog parks, and facilities are closed. City Hall will remain accessible for business and essential services with transactions to be conducted by phone (323) 848-6400 and via the City’s website at www.weho.org.
