Son Arrested For Fatal Stabbing Of Dad, Wounding Mom, Sister

The triple knife attack occurred late Sunday night in West Hollywood, officials said.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – A 34-year-old man suspected in a stabbing attack in West Hollywood that left his father dead and his mother and sister wounded was being held Monday in lieu of $2 million bail, authorities said.

The suspect in the stabbing, which was reported at 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 8700 block of Shoreham Drive, was identified as Jose Emanuel Raselbach, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies found the three victims after responding to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon by a person with a knife, the sheriff's department reported.

A man -- later determined to be the suspect's father -- was found with a stab wound and pronounced dead at the scene. His mother was taken to a hospital, where she was treated for superficial wounds, and his sister, who is in her 30s, was hospitalized in serious condition, authorities said.

A knife was recovered at the scene, officials said.

A possible motive for the stabbing attack was not immediately disclosed.
