Some of the recovered items included iPads, laptops, backpacks, and wallets, the sheriff's department said.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – A man suspected of terrorizing West Hollywood with vehicle burglaries has been arrested, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department announced Friday afternoon. During a vehicle burglary surveillance operation, plainclothes detectives observed a wanted suspect breaking into two parked vehicles on Melrose Avenue, just west of Almont Drive.

Detectives said they observed the suspect stealing property from the interior of cars and passing the stolen property off to a second suspect who then got into a car and drove away. Both suspects were arrested without incident, sheriff's officials said.

"During the search of the suspects’ vehicle, multiple pieces of stolen property from burglarized vehicles were recovered," the sheriff's department press release said. "There was also property recovered which was stolen from several vehicle burglaries that occurred in West Hollywood over the last week."
