Spanish guitarist Twanguero (Diego García) brings Backroads of the Americas to Westlake Village this Sunday, August 30 at 5 PM, for an intimate solo guitar concert.
Backroads of the Americas follows the musical roads connecting Spain, North America and South America — from Spanish folk and Latin American rhythms to American roots. Performed completely solo, with no loops or effects: one guitar, two hands, and a cinematic sound shaped by rhythm, melody and storytelling.
A Latin Grammy-winning guitarist, Twanguero has performed internationally across Europe, Latin America and the United States, including a recent solo performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Guitar Player has called him “Spain’s King of Twang.”
