C10 Intervention Truck Show returns to downtown Woodland this Labor Day weekend (dailydemocrat.com) — Downtown Woodland will be packed with vintage Chevrolet and GMC trucks this Labor Day weekend as the C10 Intervention returns Sept. 5–6, including a Saturday night cruise and a Sunday Main Event on Main Street. Organizers expect thousands of visitors, a new VIP experience at Roth Event Venue, and are selling VIP tickets now through Visit Woodland and event organizers. 
2. COURT WATCH: Yolo Judge Rejects Prosecution Bid for Google Search Terms (davisvanguard.org) — In a Woodland courtroom, a Yolo County judge declined a prosecutor's request to add broad search conditions to a woman's release in a misdemeanor drug paraphernalia case, ruling her past record was too old to justify it. The decision highlights how local judges weigh prior history against current charges when setting release terms in lower-level cases.
3. The 38th annual Concilio of Yolo County Recognition Dinner set for Oct. 10 (dailydemocrat.com) — Woodland residents can attend the 38th annual Concilio of Yolo County Recognition Dinner and Scholarship Fundraiser on Oct. 10 at the Woodland Community & Senior Center. The evening will honor Latino high school seniors and Aguila Award nominees, with limited $40 tickets available in advance and a long history of scholarships supporting local students since 1984.
4. High School Playbook Game of the Week Poll: Week 3 (kcra.com) — Woodland High's matchup against Pioneer is one of several games KCRA 3 is considering for its Sept. 11 High School Playbook Game of the Week, and your vote will help decide which game gets featured. The online poll runs through 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, giving Woodland fans a chance to boost their hometown showdown.
