The incoming operators plan a more grocery-style market alongside the pumps, aiming to serve nearby downtown residents, hospital staff, and fairgrounds visitors with more everyday staples and fresh snacks.
   

• COURT WATCH: Yolo Judge Questions Competency in Felony Vandalism Case (davisvanguard.org) — In a Yolo County Superior Court hearing in Woodland, a judge questioned whether a felony vandalism suspect was mentally competent to proceed after he appeared confused and resisted legal representation. The case involves alleged vandalism and related offenses tied to UC Davis locations, and the judge ordered further evaluation while keeping the accused in custody with relatively low bond amounts.
