Doesn't It Smell Delicious After Sunset? An abundance of beautiful flowers is a photographer and crafters delight.

Recent weeks of winter rain not only reversed the drought, but it caused plants to flourish once again. Inspiring all sorts of options.

Have you noticed an abundance of flowering plants. As far away as the San Diego Freeway the infamous citrus blossoms, of the San Fernando Valley, permeate even through the vents of cars with windows closed. Night jasmine, citrus, roses, wisteria, and more all have an extra large quantity of buds and blossoms, much like we haven't seen in a very long time.

Walking the dogs, or even a jaunt around the neighborhood is a new adventure as one gasps at all the flowers now appearing on jade plants, multiple succulents, lavender stems, and more. Not only have many of the succulent plants either not produced flowers or they were minimal or pathetic , but this year they are easily three times what any of us can recall in recent past.

Has nature gone awry with the size of roses, azaleas, wisteria, and other flowers perfect for a spring styled vase or a bouquet. Iris plants are sizeable and vivid in color, purples which look like velvet, standing tall amidst buds ready to burst.

Owners of digital cameras and cellular phones, with pixel counts capable of equally dynamic quality pictures, are amazed each day as flowers and plants are exploding with color and aroma. Capturing this opportunity is a pure delight for even an amateur photographer.
