Mothers of Autistic and ADHD Children-Get Ahead of the Curve and Make a Difference in Your Child's Life

It helps parents understand the motivations of their child, and ensures the child will develop emotionally, intellectually and socially. We like for parent(s) to participate in the private session with the child and directly experience the exercise or activity along with the child.

In this way the parent and the child can learn about the structure of the child’s analytical thinking together. This has the added benefit of building social connections between parent and child. We explain why the child is doing something, why it is different from the typical traditional thinking response, and how it is a perfectly legitimate response given the framework of his thinking. Working continuously with a child in this way enables him or her to achieve a level of ability and functionality that most people do not believe is
possible.

We are convinced that when people see how functional and independent the children become as they go through our program, they will have a completely different viewpoint about the potential of these children. This includes the children who now are considered to be extremely low functioning given the treatments that
are available to them.

At Autism Baby, we work successfully with children and young adults of all ages, but with very young children, we can lay a stronger social, emotional, and academic foundation right from the beginning of the child’s life.

It has been our experience that when the parents recognize that the child’s way of perceiving the world and processing information is very different from their own, but at the same time just as logical as their own once it is validated and developed in the child, they are able to see unbelievable positive changes in their child.
