Pedestrian, 84, Struck in Woodland Hills
A man was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle while jaywalking with family on Ventura Boulevard.

Updated at 8 a.m.: An 84-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Woodland Hills, police said today.
The accident occurred in the 22400 block of Ventura Boulevard near Shoup Avenue around 10 p.m. Tuesday, said an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division.
The victim was with a group of relatives and jaywalking when he was struck by the vehicle, the officer said.

The status of the motorist involved in the accident was not immediately reported.
