Triple Talent's Lion King
Triple Talent, a musical theatre and Hip Hop summer camp, recently finished a performance of The Lion King with amazing children actors.
The Lion King, Jr. was performed by students of Triple Talent at the West Valley Playhouse last May. Triple Talent is a Professional Children's Theatre Group for ages 6-18, Produced and Directed by local Juilliard Graduate Neisha Folkes.
It was my pleasure to attend the Sunday Matinee performance. Overall, I was struck by the actors’ professionalism, the intricate costumes, and the beautiful choreography which showcased each actor’s level of talent. The elementary age as well as the teens all got a chance to shine with their singing, dancing, and acting. I learned from the Director that several members of the cast are active as working actors, and that Triple Talent personally works to enhance each student’s career whether that is just taking classes or getting an agent!
From July 10th until August 11th, Triple Talent is hosting a weekly musical theatre and hip-hop summer camp. My children have participated in this camp for the past few years, and they have loved it as a way to express themselves and have fun. Each week has a different a theme with a free performance every Friday for everyone to enjoy.
